GEG: What does 2018 have in store for Infected Rain?

Lena Scissorhands: Lots of traveling with Infected Rain and meeting new people. Hopefully manage to complete some old projects.

GEG: Who is Lena Scissorhands?

Lena Scissorhands: Interesting question. I believe we should ask people that are following me. However  I would say  Lena Scissorhands is a creative soul, a dreamer and a messenger . The singer of Infected Rain and an alternative model.

GEG: Who were your inspirations in the music industry when you were younger.

Lena Scissorhands: I was always a big fan of Queen and Michael Jackson and later on I started to listen to heavier bands like Nirvana, Korn, Slipknot, Deftones, Pantera etc.

GEG: If you could give advice to females that are just getting started in the music industry, what would you tell them?

Lena Scissorhands: Be strong and follow your dream no matter what. 

GEG: Are you currently working on an album?

Lena Scissorhands: We are indeed working on new songs and ideas not yet a album.

GEG: What is the inspiration for the new album, if applicable?

Lena Scissorhands: We get inspired by everything, good or bad. We try to speak through our music and deliver emotions or states of mind.

GEG: What is one of the hardest things you encounter being a female in the music industry?

Lena Scissorhands: Some things are just hard sometimes, regardless if you are a female or a male. I don't see any difference.

GEG: How can your fans buy your merchandise, music, etc.?

GEG: As a female rock artist what is the message you want to convey to your fans? 

Lena Scissorhands: As I mentioned earlier, there is no difference between a male or female vocalist for me. We are artists and we share our art. I try to encourage people to be strong, to fight for their dreams, to learn how to live with their past without letting it hurt again.

GEG: Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

Lena Scissorhands: My dream is to make a song with Deftones. Chino’s voice is just so amazing and the music they do speak to me.
